Let Logos Lead the Way

Submitted by Kelly Glass

At Idea Custom Solutions, we’ve been thinking (and talking) a lot about logos these days. It’s not just because new logos, logo design and rebrands are a trending topic.

Sure, there’s been a ton of news in the business press about logos. It seems that everyone, from tech companies such as Google and DirecTV, to the hospitality giant Ritz-Carlton Hotels, has a new corporate emblem being unveiled as a part of keeping their marketing current, crisp and visible to customers. But we’re excited about logo design for a different reason.

Print Materials Branded with Logos and Graphics

For our customers and partners in the marketing and graphic services space, we see new logos — as well as redesigned logos — as the beginning of new possibilities.

Simply put, when you offer logo design services to your prospects and customers, it’s not just “one and done”. In our experience, offering logo design services typically leads to long lasting relationships with many additional sales opportunities in the short- and long-term.

After all, when the logo changes, everything that has a logo on it has to change as well!

Consider the different types of marketing that businesses do. Word has gotten out: print isn’t dead. It’s just evolving and changing. Businesses of all kinds, from sales organizations that work the business-to-business market to luxury real estate firms, rely on print collateral.

For some businesses, it is important to wow the customer and demonstrate the value of a product with quality brochures that feature high-resolution photos, diagrams or infographics. For other businesses, part of establishing the brand, building the relationship and winning the eventual sale starts with tangible, colorful “leave-behinds”. And, for many other businesses, from software to heavy equipment makers,  trade shows and trade show marketing collateral is the name of the game.

Whatever sector or line of business we’re talking about, conventional wisdom suggests that good marketers arm their teams with the best tools. If you are a business services provider that offers logo design services, those new logos will conjure up ideas and opportunities for you.

Remember, a logo isn't just a corporate badge for a bumper sticker or the sign on the office front door. When you enable your customer to activate their brands with professional new logos, you can help them take their images a step further.

Offer them marketing collateral (both print and digital), along with website-related services. Remind your customer that their new logos are best used . . . everywhere.

Beyond print materials and the website, your customers’ new logos should be integrated in their social media pages and campaigns, plus other easy-to-forget places like in the email signatures for company employees. Better yet, specialty advertising items — from branded wearables, to logoed drinkware and writing instruments — put a company’s brand right in the hand of every customer and team member.

No one knows your customers or your specific market better than you do. But in order to offer your customers the best of what is out there, we agree with U.S. News & World Report that it is best to enlist an expert. Tap the marketing services specialists at Idea Custom Solutions to help your customers put their best foot forward, while you profitably deliver designsthat will keep them coming back for more of your experienced and responsive support.
